My Online Income System: A Fatal Flaw?

Don’t know why it took me so long to notice… there is a fatal flaw in my attempt to perform an unbiased review of the “free” version of this product.

When you choose the free options for MOIS, you are given one option only for your free website to promote:  home-based businesses. Kimberly Hoffman’s system is one of the three products promoted on your free website. In order to really do the MOIS system–at the least free version–you are basically FORCED to promote and sell her product whether or not you believe in it, whether or not you know if it will work.

Sorry, but in my humble opinion, this is affiliate marketing at it’s worst. My whole premise is, let me try the product and see if I can make money with it. If I can, I will whole-heartedly recommend it to others. But, that goes directly against the whole My OnLine Income System.

The system is designed to make money selling itself. Yes, I understand that’s the whole point of affiliate marketing, to sign up to sell a product. However, if I go to ClickBank, I can purchase a product and use it without becoming an affiliate for it. With MOIS, that’s a little more difficult to do.

Is there useful information in Kimberly Hoffman’s system? Yes.

Can you use this information to sell other products? Yes.

But overall, I haven’t been overwhelmed with new information. I have taken away only a few tidbits of new (to me) information, but the vast majority of it I already knew.

Have I made a dime with her system? No. But, in all fairness, I wasn’t sending anyone to the free, money-making website that came with MOIS because I didn’t want to promote the three programs without knowing whether or not they would work… you see the endless loop this puts me in?

I suppose I could substitute the free website with some other affiliate product that I know and trust and see if I generated any sales using these methods, but then that would defeat the purpose of recommending her system, since it revolves so clearly around marketing itself.

I’m afraid I have to give Kimberley Hoffman’s My Online Income System a mere 2 out of 5 stars for it’s less than above board tactics at forced self-promotion as well as the almost daily barrage of additional product offers in my email box for which she gets affiliate commissions.

Thanks, but no thanks, Kimberley. I clearly see now how you have made your money with this program.
