Day 1: My Online Income System
OK, here we go with the first experiment. I received an email offering me an opportunity to get into Kimberley Hoffman’s My Online Income System (MOIS).
This is basically a 60-day step-by-step program to generating an income on-line. The creator, Kimberley Hoffman, states that she was a single-mom, waitressing and in 1 1/2 years was able to quit her job and live off of her internet earnings.
The course is written to meet the needs of someone with absolutely no internet skills or knowledge, so if you have a foundation already, you should be able to go through the course quite a bit faster.
Your membership gets you her ebook, access to an on-line forum, daily action plans, support, and resources.
Since I already have some internet experience, I should be able to speed up the process quite a bit.
Initial comment: The day after I signed up, I received an email (obviously the first in an auto-responder series) telling me about yet another opportunity (taking surveys for money). In order to give the original opportunity my best shot, I’m going to ignore all other offers received and just focus on the task at hand. I was a little disappointed by this, but am going to put it behind me and stay the course.
CAUTION: This is a fast and easy way to get over your head in debt while trying to earn an income on the internet. Every opportunity sounds good. The problem is, if you keep chasing after every new bright, shiny object, you lose your focus and end up not accomplishing anything except for building a mountain of debt. So, beware of this common pitfall on line. Your best bet is to chose a course of action and then stick with it until you know whether or not it’s going to work for you.
